Arrow Dash is a competitive multiplayer VR game developped by Virtual Room released in 2022 in which players embody archers in a vertical colorful and angular world. I was very proud to work on this project as level designer and technical artist. One of the main feature allows the user to draw a virtual playzone in an actual space of any size or shape, even including obstacles. My main task as a level designer was to create an algorithm dividing the shape into interesting platforms while encouraging circulation and avoiding dead ends. Quite challenging! Furthermore, I worked on the technical artistic side by creating many VFX and procedurally modifying meshes to adapt the architecture to the platforms shapes. As the game runs on Meta Quest 2, I dived into rendering optimisations and reducing drawcalls.
